 My name is Ken Stecker, and I am privileged to be selected as PAAM’s Traffic Safety Resource Prosecutor. As many of you may know, David Wallace has been appointed as Director for the National Center for DWI Courts in Alexandria, Virginia.
I have 18 years of prosecution experience. I started my career in Kalamazoo County, and then I moved to Branch County where I was the Chief Assistant for the past 8 years. I have tried every traffic offense imaginable, from civil infractions to vehicular homicide. I also have extensive teaching experience as an adjunct faculty member at Kellogg Community College for the past 15 years.
One of the many goals in my new position is to be a dedicated and committed liaison between the state’s prosecutors and the traffic safety community and to work for better coordination in the prosecution of traffic safety violations.
